My husband and I hadn’t gone on a proper trip for five years.
Then my parents kindly offered to watch the kids so that my husband and I could take a trip together.
We were grateful for the offer and we decided to travel to Europe.
We chose Barcelona and Paris, our top dream destinations.
I had previously visited Barcelona for work.
It was so beautiful that I always wanted to return with someone I loved.
Paris was my husband’s choice, mainly for the art and shopping.
We watched an FC Barcelona soccer match in Paris and dined at a romantic restaurant with a view of the Eiffel Tower.
We went jogging along the Seine River together in the mornings.
Our time together as a couple was so precious that simply walking the streets together made us happy.
