2. 일주일에 최소 3번씩: At least three times a week.
나는 4개월 동안 일주일에 최소 3번씩 실내 골프장에서 연습을 했습니다.
I had been practicing at an indoor golf range at least 3 times a week for 4 months.
그는 매주 최소 3번씩 부모님께 전화드립니다.
He calls his parents at least 3 times a week.
나는 매주 최소 3번씩은 그 음식점에서 밥을 먹는다.
I eat at that restaurant at least 3 times a week.
3. 실력 발휘를 제대로 하다: perform at one’s best
하지만 처음이라서 그런지 너무 떨려서 실력 발휘를 제대로 하지는 못했습니다.
I couldn’t quite perform at my best because I was nervous.
제대로 실력 발휘를 하려면 잠을 자야겠다.
I need to sleep to perform at my best.

A: I heard you went out on the course for the first time.
B: Yes I played my first round last week.
A: Congratulations. Did you play well?
B: No don’t get me started. It was a mess probably because it was my first time.
A: That’s to be expected for a first timer.
B: I just want to play better next time I go out.

나는 골프를 배운 지 이제 막 4개월 차에 들어선 골프 새내기다.
필드에 나가서 첫 라운딩을 하는 것을 골프 은어로는 머리를 올리러 간다라고 한다.
얼마 전 저는 첫 라운딩을 하러 골프장에 다녀왔다.
나를 가르쳐주고 계신 프로 선생님과 같이 갔다.
드넓은 잔디와 맑고 푸른 하늘을 보니 마음이 그렇게 설레일 수가 없었다.
이날만을 기다리며 4개월 동안 일주일에 최소 3번씩 실내 골프장에서 연습을 했다.
하지만 처음이라서 그런지 너무 떨려서 실력 발휘를 제대로 하지는 못했다.
프로 선생님이 처음 치고는 정말 잘하는 것이라며 아낌 없이 칭찬을 해 주셔서 위안이 좀 되기는 했다.
아마 골프를 치는 평생 동안 첫 라운딩은 절대로 잊지 못할 것 같다.

I couldn’t have been more excited.
I had been practicing at an indoor golf range at least three times a week for four months, eagerly looking forward to this day.
However, maybe due to nerves as it was my first time, I couldn’t quite perform at my best.
My pro instructor heaped praise on me, saying I did really well for a first timer.
That made me feel a little better.
For the rest of my life, as long as I am playing golf, I’ll never forget my first round on the course.
