A study set out to show if men let their spouses win more often in competitive games.
The researchers tested women’s concentration levels when competing against a stranger and then against their husband.
Researchers took the couples and split them into two groups to play games.
Their brain waves were tracked and it was shown that the women tried harder to win against the stranger than their husband.
However, the women won more often against their husband.
While the study has flaws it appears the husbands were letting their wives win, thus showing that the adage, “happy wife, happy life” rings true
남자들이 경쟁적 게임에서 배우자가 더 자주 이기도록 내버려두는지 알아보기 위한 연구가 시작되었다.
연구진은 낯선 사람과 경쟁할 때와 남편과 경쟁할 때 여성의 집중력을 테스트했다.
연구진은 부부를 두 그룹으로 나누어 게임을 진행했다.
뇌파를 추적한 결과, 여성은 남편보다 낯선 사람을 상대로 이기기 위해 더 열심히 노력하는 것으로 나타났다.
