댓글이란 인터넷에 오른 원문에 대하여 짤막하게 답하여 올리는 글이다.
현대 사회에서 댓글은 다양한 의견을 표현하는 또 다른 장르가 되었다.
재치 있는 댓글들은 언어 유희의 최고봉일 때도 있다.
한 줄의 댓글이 글쓴이의 마음을 아프게 하고 기쁘게도 한다.
말의 언어는 흩어져 없어지지만 글의 언어는 그 공간에 박제되어 남게 된다.
누군가 돕는 손길이 되기도 하고 누구를 낭떠러지로 미는 발길질이 되기도 한다.
우리가 지금까지 남긴 댓글들을 모두 이렇게 모은다면 우리 자신의 과거 현재 그리고 미래를 보여주는 두려운 거울이 될지도 모른다.
늘 그렇듯 오늘도 그러한 마음을 담아 댓글을 써본다.
