Today’s Sentences: 커피숍 메뉴 정복 (Mastering Coffee)
나에게 커피는 친해지고는 싶은데 용기를 내서 다가가지 못하는 친구와 같다.
나도 호기심으로 아아에 도전해봤다. 사람들이 카페에서 시켜먹기 때문이다.
그런데 내게는 너무 쓴맛이었다.
사람들이 이런 한약 맛이 나는 음료를 왜 좋아하는 것인지 좀 의아했다.
그래도 커피를 마시고 싶은 마음에 카라멜 마끼아또로 입맛을 길들였다.
그리고 이제야 마침내 카페라떼의 참맛을 알게 됐다.
내가 커피숍 체인점에 처음 갔을 때는 어리버리하게 주문을 했었다.
지금도 크게 다르지는 않지만 그래도 최소한 커스터마이징 주문도 할 수 있게 되었다.
이제 톨, 그란데, 벤티, 트렌타 사이즈도 헷갈리지 않고 잘 기억해서 주문해야겠다.

Mastering coffee
To me coffee is like a friend I want to get closer to but can’t work up the nerve to approach.
