- 최근 들어 건강검진을 예약해야 하는 시기가 다가오면 나는 고민에 빠진다.
- 일단은 검진을 언제 받을지, 그리고 대장 내시경을 받을지 말지가 고민이 된다.
- 직급이 낮았던 시절에는 검진받는 것이 즐거웠다.
- 건강 검진을 마친 이후에 남은 반나절 이상 쉴 수 있었고, 검진을 금요일로 잡으면 긴 주말을 즐길 수도 있었다.
- 검진 결과도 양호할 것으로 기대했기 때문에, 건강 검진은 나름대로 즐거운 경험이었다.
- 하지만 최근 몇 년간은 건강 검진 날짜를 예약을 하고 나서 예약 일자를 변경하는 경우가 많다.
- 갑작스러운 회의, 불가피한 저녁 모임 자리, 여러 돌발 상황 등으로 인해서 당초 예약한 날짜에 검진을 받으러 가는 경우가 드물다.
- 대장 내시경의 경우, 장을 비우기 위한 약을 복용하고 나서 상당 기간 화장실을 가야 되기 때문에 선뜻 내키지가 않는다.
- 그렇지만 내년에는 꼭 한 번 하기로 다짐을 해본다.

As for the colonoscopy, I hesitate because I have to spend quite a lot of time in the bathroom after taking the medication to empty the bowels.
