나는 20년 전 운전면허를 취득했고, 그 이후 여태껏 장롱 면허로 살아왔다.
출장 갈 때는 주로 대중교통에 의존을 하거나 동료 차를 같이 타고 갔다.
그러다가 더 나이가 들기 전에 운전을 시작해야겠다는 생각이 들었다.
그래서 올해 1월부터 회사 차를 몰고 다니면서 업무를 보고 있다.
물론 중간에 우여곡절도 조금은 있었다.
혼자 운전을 하던 첫날, 업무를 마치고 의기양양하게 회사로 복귀를 했다.
바로 그때 주차를 하다가 동료의 주차된 차를 실수로 들이받았다.
큰 사고는 아니었고. 회사 보험으로 잘 처리했다.
그런데 첫날 운전하러 나갔다가 사고를 냈기 때문에 트라우마로 남았다.
그래서 주차는 여전히 나한테 난제로 남아 있다.
주차 달인이 되기 위해 고수들의 운전 노하우 영상을 보면서 요령을 익히고 연습을 거듭하고 있다.​
