우리 집 첫째 아이는 7살이다. .
어느 날 만화 영화 마법 천자문을 본 이후로 한자에 푹 빠졌다.
얼마나 빠졌는지 차로 이동할 때 샤워할 때 밥을 먹을 때도 쉴 새 없이 한자를 계속 읊어가며 암송한다.
그리고 일상에서 쓰는 단어가 한자어인지 아닌지도 자주 물어본다.
또한 이 단어들이 무슨 뜻을 가지고 있는지도 알고 싶어 한다.
아이 때문에 나는 한자 사전 앱을 설치했다.
궁금한 것이 생기면 앱을 이용해서 답을 찾아본다.
평소에 별 생각이 없이 쓰던 단어들도 그 뜻을 알게 되니 참 재미있다.
아이는 자신이 많은 한자를 알고 있다는 것을 상당히 뿌듯하게 여긴다.
그래서 올해 6월에는 한자 자격 시험에도 도전해 보기로 했다.
