5. Lock-down: 봉쇄
A lock-down is when people are confined to a small area. In a prison, a lock-down is when prisoners must stay in their cells. “Lockdown” was the term used to describe the conditions people lived under during the recent pandemic.
“Lock-down”이란 사람들이 좁은 지역에 갇히는 걸 의미합니다. 감옥에서는, 수감자들이 감방에 갇히는 걸 의미합니다. 최근 펜데믹 기간 동안 살았던 환경을 설명하는 데 “lock-down”이 사용되었습니다.
