최근에는 들었을 때 바로 이해할 수 없는 신조어들이 많이 생겨났다.
그 의미를 해독할 때는 마치 퀴즈를 푸는 듯한 느낌이다.
가끔 특정 신조어의 뜻을 정확하게 맞췄을 때 쾌감이 들기도 한다.
일반적으로 신조어들은 영어와 한글을 섞어서 혹은 한글 단어의 첫 글자를 조합해서 짧고 새롭게 만들어내는 단어들인 경우가 있다.
이런 신조어들은 대부분 들으면 좀 재미있고 발음하기 쉬운 편이다.
그런데 이러한 신조어들을 현재의 시대상으로 자연스럽게 받아들여야 한다는 의견도 물론 있다.
