My adorable younger daughter just started grade school.
I’m sure that parents with multiple children have probably been amazed by the unique survival strategies of their second borns.
My second child is particularly good at reading the room.
Even in kindergarten, she had an uncanny ability to time things perfectly.
She always managed to be first in line.
And when her older sister gets all the attention from the adults, she gets jealous and tries to shift the focus by crying.
When I come home from work today, my younger daughter will be the first to greet me, chattering away nonstop as she briefs me on her entire day before her sister gets the chance.
