I am working as a project manager for the construction of the Busan Opera House.
When you think of an opera house, the city of Sydney in Australia probably comes to mind.
While the opera performances themselves are notable, there’s no denying that the unique architecture of the building helped make Sydney even more famous.
The Busan Opera House also boasts a distinctive exterior and various features that offer unique experiences.
Its design resembles a seashell holding a pearl.
Visitors will be able to walk from the ground to the rooftop via a walkable area.
The building will house a dedicated opera theater with 1,800 seats and a multi-purpose performance area with 300 seats.
Construction is underway with the goal of completion by the end of 2026.
I feel a strong sense of responsibility as I am contributing to the creation of an opera house that will become a landmark of Korea.
