🌆 A Christmas Staycation in Seoul – Ananti at Gangnam
Where Do Korean College Students Spend the Holidays?
For an unforgettable Christmas with friends, we booked our Cabin S at Ananti at Gangnam early — back in October, for December 24.
These days, many Korean twenty-somethings prefer a short urban staycation over long-distance travel.
Instead of leaving the city, they take a day or two to slow down and enjoy a hotel as their holiday destination.
This Christmas, four Korean female college students chose Ananti at Gangnam for their city escape.
🏨 Ananti at Gangnam — A Perfect Hotel for a Staycation
Check-in was at 3:00 PM, and check-out at 11:00 AM.
At check-in, we also received wristbands for complimentary pool access.
The interior felt exactly like the photos — clean, polished, and quietly luxurious.
While one friend was checking in, we looked around the hotel.
There is a Happy Hour program, offering unlimited drinks and finger foods.
The price is around 100,000 KRW per person, depending on the option.
If you didn’t bring wine with you, the hotel sells wine on-site.
But if you step outside and turn right, there’s also a wine shop nearby — a good alternative.
🛏 Cabin S — A Duplex Room with a Yacht-Inspired Design
All rooms at Ananti at Gangnam are duplex-style.
We stayed in Cabin S.
The moment we entered, it felt like walking into a stylish café rather than a hotel room.
The natural light was incredible — bright and warm, even in winter. ☀️
The interior features soft curves and a design inspired by the inside of a luxury yacht, including the kitchen.

🛋 Living Room — Why This Hotel Is Great for a Group of Friends
The living room has high ceilings, making it feel even more spacious.
The sofa and table were large enough for four people to relax comfortably.
One interesting detail: there is no TV in the room.
Instead, a tablet PC is provided for entertainment.
Looking down at the living room from above, it was easy to see why this hotel is perfect for four friends.
That sofa was made for long conversations.

🍽 Kitchen
One small but thoughtful feature was the compact sink.
Being able to rinse cups and dishes before using them made the stay feel more comfortable and considerate. – Ananti at Gangnam
🛌 Bedroom
Upstairs, the bedroom features a queen-size bed.
It’s ideal for two people, and the ceiling height is high enough that even tall adults don’t feel cramped or uncomfortable. – Ananti at Gangnam
🚿 Bathroom
The bathroom and toilet are separate, which is especially convenient when staying with friends.
The bathroom itself was spacious, clean, and well-designed.
If you forget to bring a toothbrush, you can purchase one at the hotel.
The price felt reasonable — perfect for those who just want to relax without going out again.
🏊 Pool & 🎄 Christmas Event
After unpacking, we headed straight to the pool.
Since it was winter, we used the indoor pool, which is free for hotel guests.
During the Christmas season, the hotel also had a fun Santa event.
If you met Santa walking around the hotel, you received a small gift that could be exchanged for a bath balm at the counter.
